Ferdinand Porshe was born 3 September 1875 and died 30 January 1951. He was best known for designing the original Volkswagen Beetle and for his contribution to advanced German tank designs: Tiger I, Tiger II and the Elefant.
Ferdinand Porsche was known to say “If you think about an object’s function, the form sometimes creates itself”. Porsche has built its name on outstanding design but with uncomprising engineering.
